Wool Blossoms 'n Leaves are Needlefelted with Wool Roving to attach or applique to a solid wool pin cushion. The wool pin cushion base is a "wet-felted" 100% cushion custom made for Bird Brain Designs several years ago.

Each of these pretty cushions has wool petals and leaves layered on the wool base and "appliqued" with wool roving using a special barbed needle to attach instead of needle and thread. Additional wool roving has been added for stems and occassional background coloring on the wool base. Each is unique with complementary colors of wool and roving.
