Transfer your embroidery design onto the muslin with a FriXion Pen.
 
If you do not like to trace, use Stick 'n Stitch.  Print the design on 2 sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" Stick 'n Stitch.  Put one printed sheet on your muslin and complete stitching and then add the second sheet and finish your stocking.    Print the 5 ornaments on a single sheet of Stick 'n Stitch.

1/2 yard Heavy Weight Muslin for embroidery and stocking linings.
14" x 18" Red & White fabric for stocking back, quilt batting.
Ball of #8 Robin Red Perle Cotton
Crewel needle.
Dark Red Wool to finish ornaments backs 13" x 16"
Batting to line stockings & ornaments

16” Christmas stocking AND 5 ornaments each approximately 3” x 4” each.
