The First Christmas night in RedWork….the babe is in the manger with an adoring audience of family and animals gathering 'round. This makes a super RedWork stocking and would finish as a wonderful Christmas wall hanging too! Enjoy the 5 ornaments that go with your pattern too.

Trace your stocking design on the muslin with a heat removeable FriXion Pen.  

If you DO NOT like tracing, try Stick 'n Stitch.  Print the design on 2 sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" Stick 'n Stitch.  Put one sheet on your muslin and complete stitching and then add the second sheet and finish your stocking.    Print the 5 ornaments on a single sheet of Stick 'n Stitch.

Use a 7" Morgan No-Slip hoop to stitch your stocking and a 5" for the ornaments.  This is the BEST hoop we have ever used.

Other materials you need to Embroider and Finish your RedWork Stocking plus the 5 coordinating Ornaments. 

1/2 yard Heavy Weight Muslin for embroidery and stocking linings.
14" x 18" Red & White fabric for stocking back, quilt batting.
Ball of #1915 Robin Red Perle Cotton
Crewel needle.
Dark Red Wool to finish ornaments backs 13" x 16"
Batting to line stockings & ornaments

Stocking 16” tall
