Fire engine RED toy sewing machine from KAYanEE.  This little Sew Master model is from the 1950's.  This lttle machine is hand operated by turning the handwheel to raise and lower the needle sewing with a chain stitch.  One scratch appears on the right of the logo on this "elderly" toy made from sturdy sheet metal but no rust.  This little beauty is is wonderful condition.

The KAYandEE Corporation of America manufactured toy sewing machines in Berlin, made in Germany in the U.S. Zone after World War II.  Many of the sewing machines were offered in the Montgomery Ward Christmas catalogs from 1954 thrugh 1963.  This one will make a bright RED spot in your collection of toy sewing machines!
